HAPPY TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK RAM FAM!

Booker T. Washington Middle School held their Annual College and Career Fair on April 30, 2026. LeFlore High School attended and provided the students valuable information.

Booker T. Washington Middle School's cafeteria staff would like to thank Wintzell's Oyster House for their gift.

We would like to thank Booker T. Washington's PTSA along with Rice and Reese Funeral home for sponsoring lunch and the limousine ride for our Office Staff Appreciation.

Scholarship Opportunity
JKC Scholarship Program is in the final stages of the application availability. This scholarship opportunity will close April 29th and while is still time for families to apply, they should do so as soon as possible. There will be one more online application workshop available for anyone that wants to join. Please view the flyer for more information. Reminder: Distance Learning Day and the last day of the 3rd quarter is Friday, March 13, 2026, for all students. Teacher Work Day is Monday, March 16, 2026. We look forward to seeing all of our students back on campus on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. ACAP Testing starts on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.

During Spirit Week for the Read Across America Read-A-Thon, students will be allowed to dress up according to the flyer. However, the students must wear their uniform pants each day.

Parents, come and join us for breakfast at 8:30 in the cafeteria to learn about ACAP on March 11, 2026.

Booker T. Washington Middle School has decided to hold a Read-A-Thon this year!
Read-A-Thons actually get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more.
Our Read-A-Thon will take place from Monday, March 2, 2026 to Friday, March 6, 2026.
About one week before our Read-A-Thon starts we will send home instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress.

We've chosen Read-A-Thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read and helps in the development of stronger reading skills.
